Waited a year to see a dermatologist then last minute they had a cancellation and they got me in. So I came in later in the afternoon of that same day. When I came in, after they checked me in they asked me to wait in a room. I was waiting for over 30 minutes to the point where the light censor went off and the lights went dark so I realized they forgot about me. I opened the door to ask for care and suddenly they remembered I was there. A nurse came in and started asking me questions. Before I even had a second to process anything she put a needle in my head. As she was putting the needle in my head she said “I’ve been a nurse for 40 years I know how to not make a needle hurt” and guess WHAT as she did that. The needle popped and squirted all over my face. I don’t even know what the substance was but it was clear. Then she goes oh shoot I didn’t draw that one up that wasn’t my fault. And that’s not a patient wants to hear when their head is bleeding and they’re covered in an unknown substance. Then she’s got it done and they take me to another room. Another nurse took my blood and they told me to lay down. They were doing a scalp biopsy, but yet no one explained any of this to me. Then Dr lou comes in and starts operating on my scalp and while she is, her and her nurse are fighting about a stitch. I feel scared in that moment. They then closed me up and finished my appointment. I was told to go to the pharmacy to get my prescription. My issue was that I felt violated in more ways than one. No one explained anything to me. Aftercare instruction sheet was not given. I was completely rushed and unaware of my rights or of what was going on. I had a terrible experience with this clinic
