I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this clinic and feel it’s important to share my concerns. The initial surgery went well, but shortly after, I began experiencing severe pain, swelling, and a darkening of my left breast, particularly around the nipple area. A hole also began to form beneath my breast. Despite reaching out multiple times, I experienced significant delays in communication. When I was able to speak with someone at the clinic, the receptionist was dismissive of my concerns and informed me that Dr. Whilloughby was on vacation and suggested I go to the hospital. I went to the ER, where I was diagnosed with a serious infection. After receiving the strongest antibiotics, my symptoms continued to worsen—the fever persisted, the pain increased, and the hole continued to enlarge. When I called the clinic again, I was told Dr. Whilloughby was still unavailable but that I could see another doctor. During my visit to the colleague, I expressed my growing concerns about feeling something sharp inside and the lack of improvement with the antibiotics. I was told that it was normal post-surgery and advised to continue the antibiotics. However, my condition continued to deteriorate, leaving me bedridden and requiring 24/7 care. After contacting the clinic once more, the doctor requested photos of the wound. After reviewing them, she agreed to meet with me the next morning. During this appointment, Dr. Whilloughby extracted five pieces of material from the wound underneath my breast without any prior warning or explanation. This was an extremely distressing experience, particularly as blood was dripping down my rib cage during the procedure. Two years later, I decided to return to Dr. Whilloughby to discuss not only the traumatic experience but also the disappointing results of my surgery. The scarring is significant, much worse than expected, and my left breast now looks completely different from the right. Dr. Whiloughby acknowledged that there could be improvements but stated that any further work would require payment. The lack of proper care, inadequate communication, and disregard for my concerns have left me deeply dissatisfied. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone based on my experience. * I have documented proof to support what I’m sharing here.
