While on Instagram an ad caught my eye for a light therapy facial. I never heard of this type of treatment so I thought I’d educate myself and do some research; and schedule an appointment to see the results. And this $250 treatment was offered at an introductory price at $80. The lady that was performing the treatment seemed nice but didn’t ask many questions. She looked at my skin and made some comments and then proceeded with the treatment. The beginning of the treatment the lady was explaining what she was putting on my face. But after the third application she stopped explaining. At the end of the treatment a skin consultation was supposed to follow but instead I felt like I was held hostage while being forced to buy a handheld machine or a membership. Most spas will explain the products used and make some recommendations based on my skin. And I never feel pressured to buy anything. But here, there was no mention of my skin and what I need. I was just told that the handheld machine was half price and selling for $2,000. I came for a facial and ended up being forced to buy a machine. I said I don’t make big purchases without consulting my husband and she immediately said that my husband will say no so I shouldn’t talk to him. When I gave her a hard no, she then proceeded to sell me on a membership. Had to give her another hard no as I wanted to see how my skin feels after before committing to more treatments. Then she proceeded to convince me to book another session and that she will give me a deal. Instead of the regular $250 she would give it to me for $150 but she wanted me to pay $80 to the store and that she was using her points to get the deal so I need to pay her $70 cash. I agreed to booking a second session just so she would move out of the way and let me out the room. While at the register to pay for the service, she immediately ran a second transaction into the machine and asked me to pay for another $80 and $70 cash. I felt really strange being asked to pay for something in advanced. I wasn’t expecting that and she was making me feel real uncomfortable. I told her that I would call to book my next appointment and pay for the treatment then. I am not willing to pay in advance and will not be paying today. Finally I left and couldn’t be fast enough. While driving home I realized that with all the hard selling, I left without tipping her for the service. I felt a little bad for that but it was also her fault for pushing and pushing that I just wanted to leave and totally forgot. When I got home I looked in the mirror and my skins was covered in whatever she put on and it was a little red from all the rubbing. I couldn’t really tell if it did anything for my face at that moment but then I noticed 3 very tiny white dots. I looked closer and my first thought was what? Am I getting little white heads? How I just did a facial. Couple hours later I looked in the mirror again and I noticed that the white dots seemed larger. I took a closer look and see 3 and a 4th faint white dot that seemed to be pussing up. The dots were all in a row which seemed strange. Perfectly symmetrical line. Then I realized as I recalled during the treatment that something zapped my face around my lip area. The lady burned my upper lip. It’s now several weeks and the dots pussed several times and now leaving a scar on my upper lip. I even tried to use product to reduce the scarring but it’s still visible. Be warned!!!! Don’t go here!! You will be pushed to buy something and you will be left with a permanent scar !! This place needs to be shut down!!!!!
