My appointment was scheduled for 10:10 a.m., but I wasn’t seen until 12:00 noon. The waiting area was extremely crowded, and at 11:30 a.m. I inquired about the delay, only to be told that the doctor I was scheduled to see was running two hours behind. This was never mentioned when I checked in or at any point while I was waiting, which I found very disappointing and unprofessional. It’s hard to understand how a clinic can be two hours behind so early in the day. If you value your time and expect clear communication and respect for patients, I would strongly suggest considering another dermatology office—there are many that manage their schedules more effectively. To add to the frustration, after waiting nearly two hours, I didn’t even see the doctor I had booked with—I was seen by her father instead, without any prior notice or explanation.
