DO NOT TRUST NEW YOU SPA (aka New You Cosmetics Centres)! This company is a scam and operates in bad faith. They constantly change their name to hide from accountability, and now I know why: their reputation is horrific. I paid almost $3,000 for two miraDRY treatments at their Toronto location (1920 Yonge Street, Suite 107). Guess what? The treatments were NEVER performed, and I NEVER received a refund – not a single penny back! Instead, I was strung along for months with lies about an “upgrade” to their machine, with no timeline and zero transparency. Every time I asked to speak to a manager, I was told the manager “comes and goes” and no one knows her schedule. The manager at the time was Oxana Sergeeva, who I believe still oversees multiple locations. When I contacted the manufacturer directly, they confirmed they cut ties with New You Spa because the spa does not operate in good faith and fails to meet financial obligations. After years of research, I discovered this is not an isolated incident. New You Spa has a list of lawsuits longer than a laundry list, countless negative reviews, and a history of unethical practices. They ignore customers, refuse refunds, and hide behind name changes. This is fraud, plain and simple. If you value your money, your sanity, and your time, STAY FAR AWAY FROM NEW YOU SPA. They are a scam, a rip-off, and a disgrace to the industry. Report them to the Better Business Bureau, Consumer Protection Ontario, and warn everyone you know.
