My wife and I visited this clinic after seeing a massage promo on a large sign outside. While we initially booked a couples massage with my preference being strong pressure, there were several issues that made the experience disappointing. Booking: Despite booking a couples massage, we were placed in separate rooms. While this alone isn’t a big deal, our massage preferences were mixed up. My wife received very strong pressure while mine was barely noticeable. The massage tables appeared old and stiff, and the towels and linens looked worn and outdated. Service: The masseuses entered the rooms without any greeting or communication of pressure preferences. In my session, the masseuse used plastic gloves, which felt so unusual and impersonal. In my wife’s session, the pressure was far too strong. Neither masseuse wiped off the massage oil afterward, and we were not asked to flip over to receive a full-body massage. During my wife’s session, the masseuse briefly left the room mid-massage without explanation and returned without any acknowledgment. Client Service: After our sessions, the front desk staff were indifferent and lacked basic client service skills. My wife tried speaking in Mandarin to pay in cash since the woman didn’t speak English. We received no acknowledgment or thanks, and she simply walked away to another room. When another staff member appeared at the desk, we had to approach her to say thanks and goodbye in Mandarin. The staff member seemed completely unfriendly, unconcerned and disinterested, as if they didn’t care whether we were there or not. Even the candy at the front desk were stale, it showed a general lack of attention to client experience. Areas for Improvement: – Update massage tables, towels, and linens to improve comfort and cleanliness – Provide clear communication and greetings from masseuses, including checking pressure preferences – Ensure full-body massages are performed and oil is wiped off afterward – Avoid mid-session interruptions without explanation – Improve front desk professionalism and client engagement – It wouldn’t hurt to ask clients how their services were after, it shows that you care – Pay attention to small details like candy and overall client experience Overall we would not recommend this clinic at all. While the promo price may seem appealing, the service quality, professionalism, and overall experience fall far below what other clinics provide at similar price point. Other massage clinics offer better value, like client service, proper communication, and even free upgrades (like hot stone or cupping treatments).
