Reviews

I agree with other reviewers. I was seen by Dr. Nico MacLellan. While I appreciate efficiency, this is next level rushed. I think spending 15 min instead of 5 would have been perfectly reasonable in terms of your patient turnover! However knowledgeable he may be, it is not translating into patient trust and satisfaction because he does not display empathy and appropriate bedside manner. There wasnt anything particularly alarming or bad about the actual consultation in terms of diagnosis or proposed treatment, but because of his somewhat dismissive and short answers, the shoving a piece of paper in my hands with a list of products when I asked about what to use in a way that clearly meant “i have no time for this question”, the rough nature by which he cleaned the spot on my face and said yeah it stings in a snarky way when I kindly pointed out it was painful, now i feel like im questioning his advice… I’m an MD myself and I KNOW first hand how important is patient interaction and bedside manner. People come to a physician with fear, concern, anxiety, they arent there for a spa day! If an MD meets them with attitude its a horrible experience, even if the actual care on paper is ok. In other words, it does not matter how good you are if your patients dont feel it. I think this clinic and specialists should start to listen to the comment section here as it seems a common theme throughout the reviews. I went in there for an allergic condition, but was keen to ask about cosmetic procedures. However I left without asking due to the way I felt during the visit. I hope you understand you loose not only patient satisfaction but also business by not addressing these concerns. Thanks!
