Scam Alert! Please do not book with this business owner. I originally booked a microneedling session back in Sept for Oct and the owner cancelled 3 days before my appt. We rescheduled for November only to have her cancel again 3 days before. She indicated she was closed until Jan. This info on her being closed was never communicated to me nor on her IG. I asked for a refund of the 50% payment $56.50 I provided at the time of booking. This was refused. I mentioned that a business can only legally keep a deposit IF the client fails to show. This is illegal practice as per the Consumer Protection Act. Seafare IG handle also shows the deposit as $25. The owner claimed this was the “new” deposit amount as she changes it month to month (?). I mentioned it is unfair to change pricing procedure and to then back date that change to sessions booked PRIOR to the change. The owner did not see the issue with this. Which speaks volumes on the type of local business this is. I never received the refund and her messages to me were very unprofessional. For that reason, I strongly recommend no one books with this vendor. This is business malpratice. My credit card company also noticed she set up payment as reoccurring and immediately cancelled my CC against potential fraud. I doubt they will work with her as a CC vendor in future. Be careful which local businesses you support.
