I had a cyst removed with Dr Grant in early January. I have to say this is the worst experience I have ever had. I am genuinely traumatized. I went in for my scheduled surgery and was not really entirely certain what was going to be done aside from the obvious removal of the cyst. I then reminded Dr Grant that I DO NOT FREEZE WELL. He told me not to worry and that he would freeze me properly. Well didn’t I have to yell out 3 separate times that I could feel him cutting into my skin and he seemed so surprised every time like I hadn’t already notified him of this. Then I figured with a surgery in such a sensitive area that there would be aftercare instructions and there were not. I as the patient had to ask him wether to use gauze or strips what kind of soap should or shouldn’t be used if I can shower or take a bath what will happen with the stitches and what kind they are. These are all things that should be addressed with every patient. I should not have to ask my surgeon who should be experienced about these things. I am incredibly disappointed and hope that I never have to seek his treatment again.
