I don’t usually post negative reviews, but I feel this one is important due to concerns about lack of updated training, bedside manner and the ability to deliver on client expectations. Kelly initially came across as a competent and experienced injector. However, after my treatment—and after reviewing several educational videos—I realized that the issues I experienced were likely due to poor and dated technique. Without going into too much detail, I was extremely disappointed with the outcome of my investment. I experienced eyelid ptosis (drooping), loss of control at the corner of my mouth, and a glassy, frozen appearance caused by over-injection. When I raised my concerns, I was told the issues would “just have to wear off,” which made me feel dismissed. Additionally, I still have swelling at an injection site where the product was placed in a different area than the one I originally expressed concern about—essentially I was told that it was required to be addressed in a particular order resulting in my budget being consumed. What’s also concerning is that Kelly does not stay in touch with her clients, leaving me feeling unsupported after raising these issues. I would advise potential clients to carefully shop around and interview providers to compare techniques, training, and approaches.
