Reviews

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Chang’s for about 6 years and have been treated poorly almost the entire time. He is frequently dismissive and short tempered. When my wife and I try to advocate for one another, he becomes defensive and it is impossible to accomplish anything. In my most recent appointment, he was on the phone with Air Canada and interrupted my appointment time several times in order to reschedule a canceled flight. Meanwhile, he refused to address the paperwork that I booked the appointment for and instead focused on changing my medications, which I did not ask him to do. At the end of the appointment he informed me that he did not have time to do the paperwork now. This was the reason I booked the appointment in the first place, so I wanted to know why we hadn’t focused on that. He then became irate, telling me that he was very busy and belittling my need for the paperwork to be done. I left his office feeling very angry, and as usual that he was not listening to me. There have been many incidents like this over the years, including one where my wife nearly died of a drug interaction because he prescribed two interacting drugs at the same time without bothering to double check. I will not be returning and I recommend you don’t either; he will not take care of you, and he may even harm you. It’s not worth it.
